Sprint's first 4G WiMax Technology; Will it be HTC Hypersonic to test the road?

Sprint is planning to launch its fourth generation (4G) handsets by summer 2010. The service for the 4G handset is going to be provided by Clearwire Corporation, a company in which Sprint has a big 51% stake. It will use Sprint's 4G WiMax technology that offers higher Internet speeds for mobile users.

Sprint to offer the Nexus One

Sprint has given some pretty sure proof that they will be carrying the Nexus One in the future. Currently the Nexus One is offered with T-Mobile 3G support and come this spring will also offer a Verizon version. AT&T still in the “works/rumor”. The Nexus One was spotted as listed on Walmart's online store with support from 1xEvDO, the 3G standard used by Sprint and Verizon. The real proof is a response from Sprint to an inquiry about the Nexus One and says:

Android 2.0 is coming in 2010 for Sprint’s HTC Hero

Twitter can be a wonderful tool at times. For today, one little nugget of information came as Sprint said that the Android 2.0 operating system will be coming to the HTC Hero in the first half of 2010. While no date was given (TBD) let’s just hope that the first half doesn’t mean June timeframe.
