REVIEW: Sony Ericsson HBH-GV435a Bluetooth Headset

Instead of the typical Bluetooth headset which will plug into your ear, the Sony Ericsson HBH-GV423a is designed to sit behind your ear. Having a close resemblance to a hearing aid, my first impression of this headset was that it was bulky and would most likely feel awkward and heavy after a few seconds of wearing it. However, I was completely incorrect, this headset turned out to actually be quite comfortable to wear.

Review: T-Mobile Dash 3G Hands-On

T-Mobile customers have seen the HTC Dash since 2006 and they are now blessed with a worthy upgrade with the Dash 3G. HTC’s Blackberry-esque Maple 100 smartphone masquerades as the Ozone for Verizon users, the Snap for Sprint customers, and the Dash3G for T-Mobile subscribers. With 3G support from T-Mobile, a matte finish and GPS navigation, the Dash3G finishes first in a competition between the 3 carriers’ versions of the HTC Maple 100. The lack of Inner Circle email on the T-Mobile version however, is a little odd, and the $169.99 (with 2-year contract) price tag makes the Dash 3G a bit pricy, considering Verizon has the HTC Ozone listed at $50 with a 2-year contract. Overall, though, it’s a quick little messaging phone, as it was designed to be. It delivers class and speed in a tiny package.

Jawbone Prime Bluetooth Headset Review

Aliph went back to the drawing board with the new Jawbone Prime Bluetooth 2.1 headset, and produced some stunning results. We were very pleased with the Jawbone II and found its performance to be one of the best on the market. Not many changes needed to be made to the design or the performance, and we’re really pleased to see that Aliph kept most features and the look of the Jawbone headset the same. The slight tweaks are appreciated, since they only made changes to the areas that needed improvement. Overall, it’s a truly useful and reliable headset.
