Get ready for the Google-phone

While one would Why would Google ever sell a smartphone but it has been confirmed that Google is in fact coming out with a phone. Interesting is the top rumored phone would be the HTC Dragon/Passion as this phone has been seen being carried around by the Android guys over at Google. While there are still many rumors floating around it seems that for certain Google will release the phone in early 2010 and the phone will be produced by a phone manufacturer but have the Google branding.

Rumored HTC Dragon with 1-GHz & Android next month

It has been rumored that there is a new Passion/Dragon 1GHz Snapdragon smartphone in the works to be supported by Android. Named Passion for its code name but will hit the street as an HTC Dragon. Additionally this will be the first Android-based smartphone to run on Qualcomm’s 1GHz chip. Early specs include 4.3 inch touch screen, Android 2.0, and a 5 megapixel camera
