HTC Smart O2 Exclusive in UK

The budget offering, the HTC Smart is an O2 exclusive in the UK. Besides being incredibly cheap what does it offer? Well it has a 2.8 inch touchscreen, a 3 megapixel camera, HTC’s Sense user interface, FM radio, Bluetooth 2.0 and 256 MB of internal memory. On the downside the processor is just 300Mhz, video capture is low res, it runs the Brew operating system (not Android) and there’s no Wi-Fi or GPS. You can get the HTC Smart for nothing with any contract deal so in effect you can have one for £10 per month on a 24 month contract at O2 and you’ll also get unlimited texts and 50 minutes of talk time. It’s an attractive wee phone with a decent battery life and the Sense UI offers social networking via Facebook and Twitter. If you don’t need the latest high end smartphone and you’re content with basic features and performance then the HTC Smart might suit you. Oh and did I mention it’s cheap?
