Roadmaps Leaking more than Submarine with Screen Door

It’s another week and we have another leaked roadmap. This one dripped out of the archives over at Verizon, and has quite a few delectable nibbles all the way through to 2012. Most of which doesn’t really apply to HTC, but I’d hate to leave my readers wanting, so I’ll let all the other news tag along. It seems HTC is planning another World Phone, this time with far less information than before. All in all it’s an Android heavy loadout expected from Verizon for then next few years. Surpringly enough the only information that actually does pertain to HTC is fairly vague and, as of yet, not particularly promising. The HTC related bits will be in bold.

Images of a New HTC Verizon Android Phone Surface

It feels like I can’t go a week without stumbling upon a new HTC handset in the recesses of the internet. This particular story comes courtesy of AndroidGuys.com, who broke the news when a tipster sent them the images. What we have for you today is an unannounced HTC handset which is not scheduled for release until 2011.The device shows Verizon branding, and is packing a Vodaphone SIM card, which rumors it to run on CDMA and GSM.

R.I.P Desktop Charging Cradle for the HTC Incredible

Are you an HTC Incredible owner? If you are this might not be an incredible news for you. The long waited desktop charging cradle for the Droid Incredible will not be available for sale. I have just learned that this desktop charger was never built and rumors about Verizon canceling this product from their accessory line are in fact true.

Verizon System Glitch release some Droid Incredible Pre-Orders

We are glad to see that when a company like Verizon has a glitch in the system, its to the benefit of their customers. Apparently Verizon's pre-order system had some kind of a system glitch causing some Droid Incredible pre-orders to be shipped 10 days in advance. We don't know exactly how many orders were filled, but if you placed a pre-order on the 19th you just may be one of the lucky ones to receive it today or tomorrow. Verizon has corrected the issue, and confirmed that no more Droid Incredibles will be delivered until the 29th.

HTC DROID Incredible is Official. Pre-order as early as April 19th

HTC has officially announced the release of HTC Incredible for Verizon Wireless and have named it DROID Incredible. Looks like Verizon is continuing their DROID generation and adding it again to the Incredible.

HTC Incredible Release Date - Are we there Yet?

There’s just way too much commotion going around about the HTC Incredible. We were all hyped up during CTIA expecting it to be released then, but the show came and went with no HTC Inredible-related news. Perhaps HTC wanted to keep all their focus on the EVO 4G launch during the show (which is understandable). So here we are weeks later, and still no official word from Verizon or HTC. But based on the hints and leaks from various sources over the past week, we know its definitely coming and soon!

We probably didn’t need a press release for this but it is a company’s duty to perform this simple function. In that respect, HTC has issued an official press release that the DROID ERIS by HTC has invaded Verizon stores across the United States. Available in Verizon Wireless Communication Stores and online for $99.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate with a 2-year agreement.
