The Droid is going to be a whole new brand name given to Verizon’s Android devices. To note, HTC’s Desire will be coming to market November 6th and will be known as the “Droid Eris”. HTC Predator and 3 More Android Phones Coming to Verizon in 2009

Verizon is said to be releasing four Android phones, possibly before the end of 2009. Three of those phones could be from HTC; namely, the HTC Desire, HTC Passion and HTC Predator. The other Verizon Android phone should be the Motorola Sholes.
