Sprint's HTC Touch Pro 2 Gets Updated to Android Htcpedia news:
The XD Android project has been helping WinMo phone users load an Android operating system on their phone for some time now, but recently the folks behind this mobile mash-up decided to try it again with a newer handset, the HTC Touch Pro 2. This process seems simple enough—and according to them, it is—and the best part about this project is the results. We love HTC phones for so many reasons, but what we truly appreciate is how versatile and accessible these handsets are. In this video, first reported by PocketNow, we see an HTC Touch Pro 2 demonstrate a deliciously speedy boot-up of Android and some astounding capabilities such as working calls, SMS, the addition of shortcuts and other data.

It will load on pretty much all Windows versions is my experience with the Touch HD aka Blackstone (Reply) By Morenicano March 12, 2010 02:40 PM So far... no. The whole reason this is even possible is because of the HaRET software which allows Linux to be run in WinCE. I haven't heard of software that currently exists to load WinCE on Android. (Reply)
