Hi Tom

I have my HD2 from Vodafone UK and it currently has ROM version 1.43.405.1 and I have tried flashing to 1.48.405.2. The ship English European version, as oppsoed to a test or custom ROM. The phone has no obvious signs of branding and I thus assume it is a genuine HTC ROM I am trying to upgrade from? Please correct me if I am mistaken. Given this scenario why am I getting an invalid vendor ID message please? Will I need to wait for a version of HardSpl for this phone please?

Is this ROM actually a custom Vodafone one despite all the appearances to the contrary please?

just found a bug in the wwe europe rom:

when pressing "getting started" in startmenu a error occures:

No tutorial content found. This program will now close.

Maybe they removed the welcome-package and left the link alone.. :-)

HD is dead?! Where is Windows 6.5 official for HD? I heat Leo, really. I will change phone and will buy Iphon...

i 've installed the FRE rom and i find a strange thing : the storage card is name "Storage Card" and not "Carte de stockage".

It's not really a problem but all my parameters in sashimi are so wrong now.
Is it really an official rom to have this difference ?

I have just installed the Western European English version on my Unlocked phone and it updated fine. Unfortunately Microsoft have very unhelpfully shut down Myphone for servicing. I did notice that an issue I used to have with responding to txts (tapping on the "Tap to compose text" hardly ever worked) seems to have been fixed for me. I don't have the Getting Started error that X1Owner had with the same ROM (this hasn''t been updated since he installed it has it? I just need to get my contacts back from Myphone, copy over my ringtone and remind myself where my cusom text message notification needs to go.

When i try to make the rom upgrade for my hd2 and put the S/N code, it shows me "Sorry, this update is not available for your device".

Any help please?

i bought an HD2 from shanghai. But when i put in the serisl # for support on HTC website it tells me that the device is from france. When I try to get the rom update avaialble on france/Europe website it only gives me option to get the french rom version. On this website when i try to download the europe english version nothing happens. After clicking on download it just goes back to homepage. However I am able to download the french version and the east europe english version. Will the east europe english version do the job? Someone please help. I have another idea. If someone can give me a serial number for UK phone I can download the english version Rom for my phone from the HTC website.

i have a htc hd2 t8585 with the english-arabic version ROM. But i am not getting the language totally in English. How to fix this error. Please help urgently. Can't afford to go to a shop and get it repaired, if i can do it here then why go to a shop.
