Htcpedia news:

Microsoft will be launching Windows Mobile 6.6 this February

According to the sources at Digitimes, instead of Windows Mobile 7, it is reported that Microsoft will be launching Windows Mobile 6.6 this February.   Windows Mobile 6.6, like the Windows Mobile 6.5.3. Don't expect it to be that great as it seems to be a small update until Microsoft can get Windows Mobile 7 out.

It is still expected that Microsoft will revel their plans for Windows Mobile 7 at the MWC in February.

According to WMExperts 6.6 will have: * Larger, finger friendly buttons, interface
* Re-organization of the UI
* Updated Contact UI
* Capacitive screen support
* New Internet Explorer Mobile
* Mobile Office 10
* Threaded Email
IDK bout you guys, but I'm anxious to see WM7.

Gee... Didn't see this coming... NOT!.. I'm sure most of us have already had a play with 6.5.3 (or WM6.6) and it is an improvement imo. But the delay of WM7 is just seems to be really bad business. I wonder what pathetic market share WM will be down to when they finaly produce WM7? 3%

I recognize Microsoft here.It seems that this company is now aware of other competitors and is beginning to accelerate the updates.From what I heard,she is now targeting the Mobile Market.
Good for us
