Jabra Announces Upcoming AT&T Exclusive Bluetooth Headset, the Jabra Stone

Jabra has launched a new website dedicated to the countdown of a brand new Bluetooth headset called the Jabra stone. The headset will feature a new design along with some of the usual high-end Bluetooth headset features and will be released next month in many countries.

The Jabra Stone, with a countdown ticker on Jabra’s website, jabrastone.com, will be an AT&T exclusive. AT&T and Jabra paired up to send out teaser packages to gadget bloggers worldwide which included the web address, an official announcement, and a rock; not a Jabra Stone headset.

The press notification read: "You'll never think about headsets the same way. Get ready for a revolutionary new shape -- a headset that looks, feels and sounds better than anything you've tried before. Follow the global countdown at jabra.com/stone. Watch when barriers are broken."

Jabra’s Stone headset will be designed for right ear wearing and come with Bluetooth 2.1+EDR specification. Supported Bluetooth profiles include Bluetooth Headset (Version 1.1) and hands-free profile (version 1.5). It will offer a range of 10 meters or 33 feet and up to 8 hours talk time with 12 days standby time. Headset features will include MultiPoint technology to pair up to 8 devices (2 at once), call answering, ending and rejecting, voice dialing, last number redial, call hold, volume control and call waiting. Some features are device dependent.
