While debate rages online about HTC's 2010 Mobile World Congress showing, nothing kept the company from racking up awards for their work.
HTC was awarded Device Manufacturer of the year by the GSMA at the Global Mobile Awards ceremony. The award wasn't surprising considering HTC's explosive growth last year, when their brand grew to be the ninth strongest in the world. Regardless of what we think about their upcoming products, it's hard to argue that HTC wasn't at the top of their game last year.
