Here is something for you to drool over for the next four months. BGR received a scoop about the HTC Ville, a codenamed device, running Android 4.0 and HTC Sense 4.0 is set for an announcement at the Mobile World Congress, taking place in Barcelona at the end of February 2012.

On Monday, the blogosphere was filled with information on yet another leaked HTC device, the HTC Edge, which claims to be the first quad-core powered smartphone. Today, the HTC Ville is on the line. Nevertheless, if these leaks are in fact true then these two smartphones will be saying hello to the world and to all HTC fanatics at the MWC.

HTC Ville rumored specs are as follows:

1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon Series 4 processor

4.3" qHD SUper AMOLED display
Android 4.0, ICS (Ice Cream Sandwich)
HTC Sense 4.0 (for the first time)
8MP backside-illuminated camera
1080p HD video recording
HSPA+
1650 mAh battery
8mm thick

According to BGR, they were told that HTC Ville will not feature NFC due to it's 8mm thick, but metal construction casing.

since when does HTC use Super Amoled Screens ? isn't this for Samsung galaxy only ?
