The official HTC Thunderbolt Dock is finally here Htcpedia news:
[UPDATE] As of October 26th, 2011 Verizon Wireless has pushed out a software update with Gingerbread which includes a Full Dock Mode app for the HTC Thunderbolt. When you use this dock with the HTC Thunderbolt you'll be able to view your phone's display in landscape.  Well folks the long waited original HTC dock for the HTC Thunderbolt has finally showed up. It is an authentic HTC dock and yes it is made by HTC. It looks great and matches the color of the HTC Thunderbolt. The HTC Thunderbolt dock is made so you can charge and sync your phone either with a standard or an extended 2750mAh battery. If you are one of those who has few spare batteries for the Thunderbolt then you'll be able to charge any spare battery in the back slot of this desktop charger. The spare battery slot in the back allows you to charge standard or an extended battery at the same time as you charging your phone. The dock also features LED indicator light, which shows the following colors: Red = charging the device and 2nd battery, Green = power on / fully charged the device and 2nd battery. We've tried to cradle the phone with a case on the HTC Thunderbolt, but that did not work. This dock is not designed to be used with any cases. On the right side of the dock you have a half an inch circle which lines up directly with the 3.5mm port of your Thunderbolt. This basically allows you to plug in your stereo headphones to the phone when you're phone is charging and you're enjoying a movie/song. On the back of the dock you will find one micro-USB port to plug in a USB cable (included in the box with an AC adapter) or you can also plug in your existing micro-USB wall charger.
