HTC Sells One Million Android Phones

Pat yourselves on the back, HTC. One million Android phones is quite a push for the largest seller of Windows Mobile phones. With phones like the G1 and the myTouch 3G already on the market, it appears the HTC Hero has helped reach the astronomical number for the Google Android operating system.

Google says plans are to have 20 Android phones released by year's end, and HTC will be sure to help out with sales again next year, as they plan to release 50% of their phones using the Android interface.

With its custom interface overlay called HTC Sense, the HTC Hero and future Android phones offer something special and exclusive for those looking to try out the Google operating system first hand.

they don't have that in the US due to
1. Google branding, and
2. Lawsuit prevention. (Apple is a big cry-baby going after everyone these days, they went after palm-pre for their sync.) Too much effing politics is involved in the US. Hence why Hero is in Taiwan, Europe, and going to Canada soon.

Maybe HTC and Google could work out a deal,HTC DOES make the phones anyway....they should have the right to atleast make a style for the android OS.
