HD3 is going to break the line

Htcpedia news:

HD3 is going to break the line

The HTC HD3 might break the line between smartphones and portable computers.  The HD3 is expected to arrive in November this year and will run the “soon” to be released Windows Mobile 7.

The specs of the HD3 showed up in the wild and there just might be all truth.  Along with the Windows Mobile 7 is the 1GB of RAM and ROM and to add to that arsenal it is to said to come with 16GB of additional onboard storage.  Then you can get the super speed of a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon, which might not be true since it is supposed to only come out in 2011.  Then is the huge screen of 4.5 inch dimension compared to the 4.3 inch of the HTC HD2.  It should come with Bluetooth 2.1 and A2DP along with WiMAX and Wi-Fi.   Then there is the 1280 x 800 pixel resolution and should support 16 million colors and multi-touch capabilities.  Then an 8.0 megapixel camera with Xenon flash.    To power all of this one would of course need something strong so a 1800mAh battery will be inside.   For ports it should also have HDMI, USB 2.0, and 3.5mm and microSD.  Then there is also 32GB of additional storage space.

With all this sweet specs it certainly seems too good to be true, but one never knows.  If it is true then the HTC HD3 is something to wait for.

This sounds like an amazing phone. I'm kinda jealous because it will put my current laptop to shame (1280x800 also, 1.66 GHz cpu,80gb hdd, other embarrassing specs...).

Anyway, the thing I'm most interested in now is the TP3 because I want my next phone to have a full keyboard like the TP2.

Good God, if this thing comes out I would no longer need my netbook!
Although a physical keyboard would be nice... TP3 anyone? :D
Those specs are already close to my netbook's anyways... pricing is probably not too bad... it's worth it...

IF HTC IS READING THIS... DO NOT MAKE IT SO DAMN BIG! WE GONNA HAVE TO WALK WITH FEMALE PURSES TO CARRY THE PHONE!

i highly doubt those specs are true. so soon after the supersonic??

besides, 4.3" was pushing it and now 4.5" is just too impractical to carry around as a mobile phone.

how about those specs in a 4" mobile with nearly ZERO BEZEL, some good quality optics on the camera and 720p vid.

Pff, why they use this overclocked Snapdragon? They should use the Dual-core 2Ghz chip....

yeah! don't forget it will then be a water cooler for overclocking it to 3ghz! but probably it will be the size of the first mobile phone ever made 20 years ago.

WP7 doesn't support 1280 x 800. The max is 800 x 480. Moreover I don't see a huge increase in performance from moving Cortex A8 (snapdragon) 1 GHz to 1.5 GHz. I will stick to my HD2 and hope XDA-Developers create a ROM for HD2 with WP7.
I will buy a new phone when Cortex A9 is introduced along with better GPU.

One more thing, I really hope for WP7 on HD2 even if as paid update maybe something like $10 for the update from WM 6.5 to WP7.
