We've got an actual image and feature list of the upcoming Droid Eris by HTC for Verizon Wireless 3G Network. We did not get a concrete release date for it, but rumors have been flowing around for November 6th.

Some of the core features of HTC Eris are:

Android OS
3.2 inches touch screen display
512 MB on board memory
GPS - Standalone GPS Maps
Supports WiFi
5MP Camera with Auto Focus
Track ball for navigation
Full HTML Browser
Supports Google Maps & Latitude
Stereo Bluetooth

HTC Eris will be one of the first few Droid (Android) operating Smartphones. Earlier today pricing info has been spotted online of $99 with a new contract, however no confirmed release date yet. Let's wait and see.

You now have a reason to get excited coz Verizon is releasing a new phone model in the market. iphone/">Verizon Droid</a> is far better than anything AT&T can offer, and being launched this summer. The mobile phone industry is sure to be fought over by these two for a while. According to Verizon, their phone is far better than anyone else's and has many more features than their competitors. To get this phone though you may need a cash advance because they are going to cost around $200 with a two year contract of continuing monthly bills.
