Jelly Bean Update Lowering HTC One S Battery Performance
0.0By Reuben Levine May 06, 2013 04:50 PM
One S users on T-Mobile that were overjoyed to finally get the Jelly Bean update are finding themselves in a bit of a pickle. It seems that the update has been severely impacting battery life. An outcome like this is not uncommon, as updates frequently create new bugs. Hopefully a fix will be pushed through, but for anyone feeling the pain right now there is apparently a viable work around. If your One S is burning through its battery you should be able to disable Wi-Fi calling and fix the problem.
While this solution may work for some, it's not ideal nor is it viable in the long-run. One S users on T-Mobile that have yet to grab the update should probably sit on it until it's officially addressed and taken care of. You've already waiting this long for the update, why not wait for another indefinite amount of time?
