How Would You Like Your Ice Cream On Chrome? Htcpedia news:A couple of days ago, I told you how HTC's Sensation, Sensation XE and the Sensation XL will be getting the Google 4.0 operating system upgrade, Ice Cream Sandwich. Read more here. Chrome for Android will be available to all HTC smartphones that have upgraded to Ice Cream Sandwich. Google's Sundar Pichai, Senior VP of Chrome and Apps, posted a blog saying "Like the desktop version, Chrome for Android Beta, is focused on speed and simplicity, but it also features seamless sign-in and sync so you can take your personalized web browsing experience with you where ever you go, across devices." With Chrome, you will be able to view open tabs, get smarter suggestions, and sync bookmarks. Now, that is all great news, but there is one small issue.. Chrome for Android does not support Adobe Flash Player. Bill Howard, Product Manager for the Flash platform wrote "As we announced last November, Adobe is no longer developing Flash Player for mobile browsers, and thus Chrome for Android Beta does not support Flash content. Flash Player continues to be supported within the current Android browser." Basically, this gives HTC smartphone users something to think about once they have upgraded to Ice Cream Sandwich.
