How To Take A Screen Shot With Your HTC One X, S, & V

One of the fun features in your new HTC One X, HTC One S, and HTC One V is the screen shot capabilities. I am not saying that this is a new feature by any means. It is just a lot of fun and sometimes very helpful, plus I am betting that there are a few out there that do not know how to do it, or even why they would want to. That's what I am here to tell you.
First thing I will do is tell you how easy it is to take a screen shot. There are two ways to take a screen shot. The first way is the most common for HTC smartphone users. By holding down the power button and the home button will store a picture in the memory of your HTC One smartphone. Another way to achieve the same solution is to press the power button and the volume down button. See? How easy was that?
Okay. Now you know how to do it. So why would you want to? The first example that I will tell you is probably the most common. Did you ever hear you friend say "Hey, my smartphone is doing something weird."? Now with a screen shot you can see what the heck they are talking about. Take a screen shot and text it over.
What about if they wanted to see what website you are on? The easiest thing to do would be to take a screen shot and send it. Notify your friends of a current sale or the scores to the game that they missed. There are so many web based instances that I can name but I am sure you get the point.
For kids in high school or college, the list of homework related screen shots is endless. For papers, reports, in so many different subjects. Another way that libraries will be the thing that you talk about in history class. Yes, I just attributed the downfall of libraries to smartphone users and their abilities to take screen shots, but it is true.
The last example is all about wallpapers on your HTC One smartphones. How many times have you and your friends compared wallpapers? Yes, I know that you can just text the wallpaper but that is not what I am talking about. How you have your applications set up on your wallpaper is where I am going. How they are positioned, what kind of weather app you are running, what your clock widget looks like or if you just want to show off your style.
I said that it was the last example, and I just mean that it is the last one that I will tell you for now, there is too many to list, but if you have some good suggestions, leave them in the comments area for all to hear.

What does work though, is to press and hold power and press the HOME button (the middle one at down front)
