How To Block Someone From Calling You On Your HTC

I am sure most of us have come across a specific time in their lives where they had someone calling them that they did not want to hear from. Whether it is an annoying sales caller or a persistent ex, the situation does arise.
Having to deal with someone constantly calling you is a thing of the past with smartphones. You no longer have to hear the constant ring of an unwanted call. The answer is to just block the caller. It is a series of about four steps.
First you want to be on the calling page. You know, the page that has the calling keypad? Hit the three dot menu button and options will come up. Pick the blocked callers button.
Your Blocked Callers page will pop up and on the top right of the screen next to the menu button you will see a plus sign and the word add. Press that button. See main picture and pictures below for step by step visuals.
You will then have the choice to add caller from your contacts or you can simply just type in the number. Then you are done. No more phone calls to drive you crazy.
This was all taken on my HTC EVO 4G LTE using the screen shots. Of course this is Ice Cream Sandwich and the HTC One X, HTC One S, and HTC Incredible 4G LTE will do it the same way. If you have an older HTC smartphone, do not worry, the options are there for you as well.

Also, by going to call history, you can select and hold the number you want to block and select block caller from the pop-up menu.
