Hey UK-HTC One X & HTC One S Going Orange Htcpedia news:Yesterday, Peter Chou, CEO of HTC, showed us all the the new HTC One X and the HTC One S. We were all excited to see and try out the phones. They are both amazing smartphones. Then we heard how AT&T and T_Mobile were getting one each in the US. News came out today that Orange, a UK cellular provider was getting both. Not only are they getting both, but the UK is also getting the quad core version of the HTC One X. Anyone in the US that wants the HTC One X will have to settle for the Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 1.5GHz dual core processor. The UK will be getting the full HTC One X with the Tegra3 1.5Ghz quad core. The reason for the difference in HTC One X in the US and the UK is LTE. To use the AT&T LTE network Qualcomm dual core is required. So UK gets the faster smartphone while the US gets faster data. Fair trade, wouldn't you say? Source: Engadget Rate this: 1 2 3 4 5 Rate
