HTC Beat Samsung Nokia Motorola & LG In A J.D. Power Satisfaction Survey Htcpedia news:HTC scored a 798 out of 1000 (above industry average), in a two year satisfaction survey. I will tell you that Apple came in first, but HTC was not far behind and beat out rivals Samsung, Nokia, Motorola, and LG. It will be hard for Apple to repeat and retain the title after the release of the HTC One line up. With over 140 cellular providers offering one or more of the HTC One line up, and the way the world is waiting in anticipation for the official release, we could see a major difference in years to come. Kirk Parsons, senior director of wireless services at J.D. Power and Associates said in an interview "Both carriers and manufacturers recognize the fact that battery life needs to be improved, however, the study uncovers the need for a greater sense of urgency--short battery life can result in perceived phone problems, higher rates of merchandise returns and customer defections." Basically, satisfaction key backing in this survey was battery life and performance. Cellular customers want to see an advance on mobile battery life. As more and more smartphones are moving in to 4G LTE technology, battery life has suffered a bit, but with new smartphones like the HTC One X we will (or should) see an increase in battery quality and life.
