Free Applications Come With Ads Is Understandable-T-Mobile Ad's? I will Not Have It Htcpedia news:Free applications are available to us on the Google Play store by the thousands and most of them are available for free as long as you do not mind putting up with the advertisements that either pop up during the application usage or on your status bar. Most smartphone users do not mind the advertisements that pop up during application usage, it is the ones that come up in the status bar at the top of your HTC Smartphone that really set people off. This weekend T-Mobile "accidentally" sent out status bar advertisements to its Android smartphone users. T-Mobile customers began complaining right away and T-Mobile said that they stopped it as soon as they were notified, which I highly doubt. T-Mobile had this to say "During a recent software update, a message to promote T-Mobile’s free VIP Zone was mistakenly sent to certain customers and appeared on the notification bar for some Android devices. After T-Mobile was made aware of this mistake, the company stopped the notifications. T-Mobile apologizes for the inconvenience this may have caused customers." We can only hope that it was a simple mistake that will not happen again. Something like that could drive customers away to competitors faster than you can blink. For the price we all pay for smartphone service, things like that should not be possible. Get all of your HTC smartphone accessories at HTCpedia shop Source: TMO News Rate this: 1 2 3 4 5 Rate
