Feature: Ditching the iPhone for the HTC One

It's no secret that HTC's financial health is depending on the HTC One. They want the One to be in the hands of as many people as possible. To help facilitate this, the One allows you to easily transfer data from another device, including the iPhone. Data transfer from the iPhone is allowed from every iPhone version except for the original. If you still have an original, kudos. I guess.

The following screenshots were taken by holding the power button and pressing the home button.

The process is painfully simple. First you click on settings:

From here you can see the Transfer Content option. They lay it all out in front of you. From there:

Owners of other devices are in luck. HTC wants to make it easy for everyone to ditch their old device and come over to where the grass is greener.

And that's about all there is to it. The next menu gives a short step-by-step process of what you need to do. Personal preference is to restore from backup, but the choice is yours. Obviously your iOS apps will not transfer over, but your contacts, pictures, and some other miscellaneous things will hop on over to the HTC One. This is just about as pain-free a process as is currently possible.

You can find all your HTC One accessories in the HTC Shop.
