Ex-Apple Employees Working On The HTC Buffy For Facebook

Some more HTC Facebook news has come out and included some kind of Apple involvement. Actually, it is that Facebook has brought on some extra help in the form of ex-Apple employees that worked on the iPhone and iPad.

HTC created the only Facebook smartphones, the HTC Status, HTC Chacha, and the HTC Salsa. Yes, they were not the best selling smartphones, and yes they never were really able to compete on a hardware level with any of the leading competition.

The HTC Buffy is supposed to be the next Facebook smartphone that will have some ex-Apple employee influence. Some would think that this is a way for HTC to get some inside information on Apple technology but I would beg to differ. All Apple employees would have signed non-disclosure agreements which would prevent them from disclosing any information regarding their employment time at Apple.

Having ex-Apple employees working on the next Facebook HTC smartphone is great because we can guarantee no patent infringement in the creation of this smartphone and we can all say that would be a good thing after what has happened with the HTC EVO 4G LTE that Sprint was supposed to release over a week ago.

All this news comes after Google acquired Motorola this week that could lead to an all Google powered smartphone to be released. The new world of smartphone is just beginning. Are you glad you are around to see it?
