15 Billion App Milestone For Google Play Reached

Goggle Play has hit 15 million downloads from their market while Apple is bragging about their 25 million mark that they just hit. I would not be bragging about that so fast.... Apple.
While Google's market has over 500,000 apps and Apple has 600,000 apps I do have a theory that I would like to share with all of you. Let us think about this for a minute.
Android leads the planet over Apple in operating system usage so why would Apple's iPhones be downloading 1.25 million per month while Android customers are only downloading 1 million per month? The answer is simple...
Android smartphone come with more abilities and capabilities pre-installed into their memory, while Apple iPhone users have to download app after app to reach the same level that comes in stock Android powered smartphones. Let us take Instagram as an example. Android smartphones can do almost everything that Instagram gives you without the download. An android smartphone connected to Facebook is what an iPhone achieves when it downloads Instagram. New smartphones like the HTC One line come with HTC Image Sense that gives you more capabilities than Instagram.
There are plenty of examples just like that one but I am sure you get the point. This is one case where I hope Apple does not consider this a win.
