i have every setting set to low, when im not using phone i switch it to flight mode, brightness is always set to low, i never turn that up. I never use 3G thats always off, i have had my phone on since monday, it is now sunday and i still have 26% of battery. also i try and keep the screen off as much as possible, with as few processes in background as possible.

So basicly you turn on the phone whenever you want to call and nobody else can reach you in the meantime couse your cell is in flight mode?! And also you seem to be using your phone only at night time due to the low brightness.

sorry, when i say switch to flight mode i mean from about 10 in the evening till 6.30 in morning, but i dont use brightness up high that drains battery too fast, half the time where i work is in shade so i have no need to turn brightness up,

That would be really amazing ... I hardly make it from 8am until 10pm ... Always have an extra battery with me .. But I use it EXTREME ! Push email from work and hotmail. And gmail every 15minutes. I make a lot of calls with it (business as well). BUt 1 week ... I reallly have no clue how that is possible ?

Furthermore, if you turn it off completely, it will last for months.
Seriously, how do people find you if you keep switching the radio on and off?

It is normal, r8zer is switching his phone off just at night, actually I do the same - when I'm sleeping I do not want somebody to wake me up :-)

Yes it should make some difference to switch to flight mode in the nights. But I spend at least 40% of battery in day time.

Why should I have this device if I do not use it?

I use a program called Call Block which blocks calls and SMS from numbers not in my white list. This is more convenient for me as there are a few people who should be able to reach me at all times.
