Default We do hands-on reviews & tests.....

If you would like us to test a certain handset with a particular accessory, feel free to submit a request! We want to provide the most thorough and precise information regarding the phones we test, and if you’re curious about a particular accessory’s performance or compatibility with a smartphone; we’re curious, too.

There don't seem to be any Bluetooth headsets that work with my Diamond. The volume is always too low! I've tried the Jawbone (hated it), a couple crappy Motorolas and a really expensive Plantronics one that was decent, but it hurt my ear so I couldn't wear it. Plus it would drop calls and people said I sounded like I was at the bottom of a well. Anyway I'm wondering if anyone has this phone, what is the loudest Bluetooth to use with it? I'm talking LOUD! Thanks in advance.

Personally, I think for incoming sound, the loudest would be the Jabra BT8010 for a binaural option, or the Voyager 510 or Etymotic EtyBLU (since the ear bud is the type used on bombing ranges--no outside sound is going to enter your ear canal). The best options would be dual-eared or in-ear options.

I've tested the Diamond2 with both the BT8010 and the EtyBLU, and I found the EtyBLU to be very loud, however; depending on the noise level around you, it might be better to go with a dual-ear option like the BT8010. Though, it's illegal to drive with a binaural headset, so if you talk and drive, it's single ear for you I'm afraid.

Hope that helps!

I'd love to do a video review on the 4G Max. I'll see if I can quickly get my hands on one and I'll add a review, video review, pics, and even a battle review with another smartphone. Any requests on the battle, also, would you like to know the performance of any particular accessories with the 4G Max?

I've learned we do have someone with this phone that travels to Russia quite frequently. I'll get feedback from him, an HTC Max 4G phone to review, and if I have to I'll go to Russia for a week to test the phone. Of course, that wouldn't be necessary, but it would be a nice trip, wouldn't it?
