No radio, ipl or spl included. Please use hspl 1.56 before flashing this rom.

This rom comes as it is and is meant for those that like the rom as close to stock as possible. All Topaz packages, mostly untouched but slightly tweakt here and there. So you basically get a 98% Topaz port without additions. When you want a fully tweaked rom I recommend Topix.

Q: How do I flash this rom?
First of all installl Hard-SPL from Cmonex. Read this thread carefully. Double check if the installation of Hard-SPL succeeded. Before flashing it is best to have a fully loaded battery.

When you downloaded the rom unpack the zip file and start CustomRUU.exe. It should be pretty self-explanatory. Don't panic. The flashing process and the first boot can take some time.

Q: How do I perform a hard reset?
Shut down the device. After that hold down VolUP + VolDown (simultaneously) and press the Power button once. Now a screen should appear asking you to restore the device to factory settings. Press VolUp to Confirm.

Q: I am having problems flashing the rom with CustomRUU.exe. Can I flash in another way?
You can try the official RUU for Blackstone to flash. Also flashing from SD card is an option. To flash from SD just rename ruu_signed.nbh to BLACIMG.nbh, copy it to the root of your SD card, and flash the rom from the tri-color screen by pressing the power button.

Q: I can rotate the screen by long-pressing the call button but how can I rotate it clockwise?
Using a Registry editor and edit HKLM/System/GDI/Rotation and change "LandScapeMode" from 1 to 4.

Q: How can I configure the softbuttons?
You can use Softkey Manager (blackstone mode) for that which you can find in Settings, or you can edit the registry:

Q: How can I enable threaded SMS?
By default threaded SMS is disabled in this rom. To enable threaded SMS you can use the threading sms tool in Settings->System.

Q: Although I can toggle BT beam from CommManager I want to restore the beam applet. How can I restore the applet?
Install this cab to restore the beam applet.

Q: I can't receive files with bluetooth
Enable beam from the Comm Manager.

Q: I can't turn on Data Connection in Comm Manager
This is standard behaviour of CommManager. It will be enabled when you:
1. configured your carrier datasettings (typically done during system setting by "Connection Setup".
2. start a network connection e.g. by opening a webpage in Opera or PIE.
Once the connection is established you can terminate the data connection in CommManager.

Q: How can I get applications to rotate?
You can rotate the screen by long pressing the call button. See cerato's post which explains adding applications to the sensor whitelist for auto rotation.

Q: Google Maps isn't in English
Some versions of Google maps use the language depending on your regional settings.

You can rotate the screen by long pressing the Call/Dial button. For autorotation of applications you have to add the applicationname to the sensor whitelist. Here is an example
