[Rom] KaguDroid 1.2.2 (14-02-2010)

KaguDroid 1.2.2

This Rom is built from Android 2.1_r2 cyanogen sources (sdk7), with my own customizations that make it the KaguDroid Rom. I find it really stable and, at least for me, it is usable everyday. And many more really great things will come in next versions!

Advice: do a nandroid backup before updating

Current release: 1.2.2 [download]
Google bits ERE36B [Gapps-hero-ERE36B-signed.zip] [Rapidshare] [Megaupload]

Fresh install
1) wipe
2) flash the rom
3) flash the google bits
4) reboot

Updating from 1.1 or prior

Note: Google apps are automatically backed up and restored

1) disable apps2sd if enabled and reboot
2) make sure GoogleBits are up2date
3) flash the rom
4) reboot

What does not works:
- Camera at 5mp: do no try it, it will freeze the camera service then reboot is needed.
- Camera: after a couple of photos, the camera app force close.
- AD2P calls: no sound
- Gallery3D graphics get 'messed up' if you switch orientation.
- Live wallpaper are not all playing (we miss OpenGl ES Lite 1.)
- Exchange sync problems with some servers configuration
- All feature that need a custom kernel are not working (usb-tether, compcache)
- Youtube

HOW TO REPORT BUGS OR PROBLEMS?
- Read this
- Was it a hard reboot? Get me the file "/proc/last_kmsg".
- Was it a soft reboot or a "boot loop"? Run "adb logcat" and get me the full output.
- Pastebin links preferred

I don't see any APN!

Just click menu > restore to default on the APN empty list page

How do I enable network location?

Enable it in Settings > Location & security

How to disable home screen auto rotation?

Disable it in spare parts.

How do I enable adb commands?

Settings > Applications > Development. Enable USB debugging

I am using windows and adb command is not working.

Install the usb driver from here

How do I enable app2sd ?

adb remount
adb shell apps2sd on
adb reboot

How do I disable app2sd ?

adb remount
adb shell apps2sd off
adb reboot

Where is Launcher2?

I have not included yet. If you want to give it a try.

Then this rom is not for you. Use an HTC rom instead.

mate i love this rom but my only problem is how the copilot live works? i successfuly installed my copilot but when i open on it thre's an error is not supported by the system....thanks for this custom rom....

This seems to be a common result for these types of ROMs, I think your best bet would be to contact co-pilot for further advise?

latest copilot is nexus compatible so 2.1 ready
if you really paid for it you should be able to update

Hy.

I can't download the ROM.

When clicking on the link, I get a screen where I have to wait for 15 seconds, and then, a new link appears. But this link pops me a welcome screen from the site "multiupload.com", and nothing else ...

I wiped my browser's cache, I tried with Chrome and Firefox, same result.

Is it possible to post this ROM on a mirror ???

multiupload is already made of 6-7 mirrors... try with disabling adblock or something

@ 050177e. looks like your ' cracked ' version of co-pilot has expired.

The download speed is appalling, anyone know if this ROM still has 7 homescreens?
