[DEV] Hero AOSP 2.0.1-r6

Thanks to Manup456 [1] with help from Eugene373 [2], I've taken their 2.0.1 AOSP build and Hero-ized it. The changes were fairly minimal, so all of the credit goes to them for their work. This build has fully working Google Sync/Apps, fully working Market (from my testing), Bluetooth, etc. Thanks to Behnaam for help with porting stuff to the 2.0.1. ROM.

Working:

• Making calls (including volume fix)
• 3G/GPRS
• Wifi
• Google Sync (all apps, without loops or hacks)
• Network location
• Trackball
• Market
• Accelerometer
• Lights
• GPS
• Bluetooth
• Camera (only works at 3MP resolution or lower)
• Voice search
• Calendar Widget
• Added custom boot animation merging Hero and Nexus.

Not working:

• Light Sensor isn't working, but you can download ProximitySensor and use it
• Camera only works at 3MP resolution or lower
• Photos always show a timestamp. This happens with all camera apps and affects the results of Goggles.
• Videos can't be recorded.
• Market -> Downloads -> Menu -> Notifications causes a FC
• Youtube (and other) video playback
• com.android.input.latin will sometimes 'wait' / 'force close', but wait works.
• Music player may cause crashes of /system/bin/mediaserver that produce a short sound through speakerphone even if the headphones are plugged in
• Speakers don't work when headphones are unplugged; needs a reboot

Just flashed.... more stable and better performance. However, i think my Hero is no longer rooted? somehow it has lost the rooting capability since when i do Adb root, the response is closed? Any ideas on how to regain the Root? i have flashed Recovery image 1.5.2 with whatever i could see to ensure rooting still no luck. Please help me out here anyone?
