I found this in XDA dev. (Topaz Thread) working perfectly in Manila 2.1.19182825.6.

Make a backup first of the same Manila file using total commander, then unzip the file in windows directory still using total commander.

Voila!! happiness!

i don't know what could've gone wrong with mine, i only used the same few cabs that i use with dutty's 3.9-r14 and never had any problem

Just turn the vibration off for the input. I am very picky when it comes to typing speed and have been using the fastest (topix 2.9) although found miri's test rom to be fine for me after turning the vibration off. I am having a small problem when replying to people through htc messaging, although creating a new sms works fine.
