Update.zip to flash with custom recovery

This is the totally stock Hero_HTC_WWE_3.32.405.1_R repacked as update.zip. I have only moved youtube.apk, maps.apk and quickoffice.apk to /data/app because the rom uses about 100% of /system partition.

Root

To root the rom, just flash this update.zip (md5sum: b539f9807a1fb42b3f472b4eda9aaff1) (contains busybox, superuser.apk, su, unsecured boot.img and sysinit from /etc/init.d)

Note

I noticed a weird behavior in HTC's widgets list (for eg clock widget) when updating from rom based on the chinese 2.1 update. Wipe is required if you face that issue.

Can we have apps2sd? At least as an optional update zip? please??

I would do it myself, but i still dont know how to execute a script on early boot (to mount the ext3 partition and make the symlinks).

Right now I am using BeHero+ 1.2 FRESH. Can I just WIPE my phone and install update.zip's? Or do I need to reverse to de original RUU 1.5, then root it again and the install yours update.zip's?

You can wipe and flash this one directly. You may want to try without wiping, that should keep your settings. As always do a nandroid backup before doing anything else.
