I am not responsible of any problem you may face using those files. You must know what you are doing when using those files, if you don't, don't use them. Froyo release FRF72 Update using official patch file You must be runnning the stock FRF50 release with stock recovery. Copy that file to the root of your sdcard, rename to update.zip, launch recovery (power on with volume down held), press power and volume up when the warning triangle icon appears then select 'apply update.zip'. Download: Google (mirror) Update using fastboot Stock FRF72 images (boot.img and system.img) to flash using fastboot. Radio hasn't changed since FRF50. Download: 4shared Update.zip to flash with custom recovery This is the totally stock FRF72 repacked as update.zip. The radio hasn't changed since FRF50, so if you are using it, you can keep it and install the noradio version. Download: - with radio image: 4shared - without radio image: 4shared Root To root FRF72, just flash this update.zip (contains busybox, superuser.apk, su, unsecured boot.img) Build.prop Stock build.prop is attached allong with an edited one (with ERE27 fingerprint) in case you do not see protected apps in Android Market: # adb remount # adb push build.prop.ere27.txt system/build.prop # adb reboot Then, once it reboots, go into the dialer, and type: Code:
*#*#CHECKIN#*#* Code:
*#*#2432546#*#*

Does this build "update-nexusone-FRF72-stock-ra" include the ability to receive the official OTA when it drops in the coming weeks?

I think that official update will come as an ERE27 to FRF?? update. Anyway it will most certainly get repacked as an update.zip.

Hi,
Got FRF72 installed, but when I try to flash the rooting update.zip I get a signing authentication error from Stock Recovery. Did I do something wrong? Thanks Randy |

ok, new to these forums, but here is a question
what is to be done with the kernel-config.zip file?? only file that doesn't have instructions - or is this just for information use? Thanks, ~J |

This update is great…just uninstall swype and reinstall our you should be fine..
I got a 50mb internal memory boost…and a minor google voice update..also the color track ball had been working in many different colors since the first froyo update.. |
