For some reason after installation the phone password was no longer accepted. After trying a few times (and wiping my phone each time :-(, I found out that installing swype with no password set and afterwards setting the password solves the problem. After installing, it removed all my 3 email accounts and am not able to recreate the email accounts & it also disable my 3G connection permanently. If after uninstalling, it did not help. Had to reflash. (Reply) By byteman007 March 17, 2010 03:03 AM After installing Swype, my screen was locked and it wouldnt recognize my password. Finally after a hard reset I was able to boot however; it wouldn't recognize my SD Card in File Explorer or Windows Media Player. The only app that would recognize my sd card was the format SD card. I tried the format of 16GB SD card and took forever. Going to sleep now can't wait to see if it will recognize the SD card :-) after the format. Will write another update in the morning. Each time I reset I have to go throught the connection setup again before I can connect via 3G. It is the fine afterwards. It comes as a default package in the TMOUS ROM and it offers great benefit, particularly the newest version from the 2.13 ROM. (Reply) By espounltd June 07, 2010 10:40 PM please, forgive my ignorance....I have a pretty good understanding of how to flash roms....im not completely clueless about this stuff, but im far from an expert.....very far from it.....and I just got the hd2....can I install the apps, like this new swype keyboard, on just a regular, non flashed, factory boring hd2?....it has had the recent software upgrade......but that's about it......also, where should a relative newbie go first?...which rom is the best and most stable for someone like me, whose not completely green but not the next great hacker, either....thanks in advance for any reply (Reply) By arjenss June 28, 2010 03:28 PM Had a negative experience twice with this add-on Swype keyboard.
