Dutty it’s a really nice ROM, on my second HD I have WM6.5 Leo R4 and I have there on lock screen very nice keyboard it’s black with oval key’s it is possible to set (default maybe in next compilation) such one in this version?? (any one knows ??)
One thing more did you consider to build your Rom in newest OS version such 23060 or 23420 I was tested 23071 Miri and this compilation is much more faster than OS 23016.

Hey guys, please, test a rom fairly and report "Bugs" only when you are really sure with all conditions.

I say this because
- SMS works perfectly like before
- camera has no problems
- MMS works also
- Video call can't be testet but seems possible
- twitter works also with GRPS or WiFi connections

after flashing rom, device lost signal...wifi, bluetooth works. after several hard and soft resets, signal randomly appeared and lost. tryed every radio and other dutty roms and stock as well...no success. any advice

Nice Roo, Very Fast,Very Stable, only one issue:bluetooth have any problem with wireless headphones.Only works with windows media player, not with htc player..It's a problem who have all the latest Roms... I don't know why...!It's a Pitty couse the reast of the Rom it's Perfect!;)

Dutty thanks for the update.

am i the only one that has the following issue afer flashing?

after flashing, the phone was stuck in the yellow/orange screen, after waiting 5 mins i removed rear cover and pressed reset, phone rebooted and same issue.

i pressed the right upper corner (taskbar) then all of a sudden manilla appeared without the normal aligning of the screen session.

i then went to settings and choose "clear storage" after the hardreset everything was fine :-) and i got the screen alignand then everything was allright. so in case of others haveing troubles maybe this will help you.

same was with me and I pressed the start bar instead of task bar and manilla appeared and everything back to normal... and is faster than any other ROM....

Had to reset every morning (Battery out) would not power up from top button? OK through the day.I am doing a 1234 hard reset at present. might do one more and a soft for good luck. Will then report back tomorrow morning.Otherwise all OK.

Have 1234 hard reset and got in a right mess ROM seemed to get more unstable?
Anyway it dawned on me the phone was timing out before it had got through the rom reboot. This is because I took the phone with it had a 100% battary. So be warned reboot on mains only.
I am still thinking of doing a re-run to instll rom again. I cannot get it to bring up the screen Calibration at all. Any comments onthis?
Also My Phone is freezing up when installing Text Massages back to phone?

Bug Reporting: Cannot access Storage Card
I just flashed R6 and hard reset. I noticed that I cannot access the mini SDHC from the File Explorer. In the past, it showed up as \Storage Card. I reflashed and hard reset. Same prblem. Anyone with same problem?

Hmmm... it seems like the problem is with my Storage Card. My Storage Card has been fried after the flashing because I flash the ROM using the Storage Card method. It was ok before and during the flashy. Strange.... Too bad, need to get a new Storage Card now.

before you buy a new card, try formatting it first on a pc, in a microsd card>usb plug, maybe something went wrong with your FAT/MFT (file allocation table/Master File table) (format it as: FAT32). hope this works for you.

i never ever heard of a fried microsd card caused by flashing a rom, so goodluck

I'm still using the R5 because I just updated it a few days ago. Thanks for the great job!

Is there a way to run Linux on the HD with Manila on top? :-) That would be awesome!

I started to edit the registry and to play with some options. I found out, that you can't set the camera resolution over 5MP. You can edit the values of "MainCamCaptSize" and other entries but the resolution of the pictures will not go over 2592 by 1944. resp. 1552 pixel.
BUT if you set the value of "CaptureFormat" to 3, it displays BMP in the advanced camera options menu. Unfortunately, the camera program doesn't keep that option and changes it back to JPEG once you are about to use it. Can you (or somebody else) modify the camera program so that it'll keep the BMP format? Or is there a way to save pictures even in TIF or RAW format?!?!?

Furthermore, can somebody make the HD better on battery?

Can somebody post this to duttythroy? I don't know how. :)

Latest update on HD Working all OK now.(Touch Wood).
Tells me when I have E-Mail and Messages all arrive. Alarm OK for Calendar.
Just added Worldmate Live went all slow on me had to soft reset.
But OK after. I think it was downloading infomation and was loading HD up.
Only problem is Footprints not working? and background on icon menu not updating need soft reset then OK. Anyone any ideas about Footprints.

I have only myself flashed DuttR5 and now R6. R6 does fix minor Issues. But R5 was on my HD for 3 weeks and was V good. Once you have Flashed its easy. So try both and report back. Everything the phone is needed to do, still works. Even the Orange HTC Rom as its problems I use to have trouble when out it would not power up. So no software is 100%.

Anyone else having issues with TouchFlo Media Player? Songs play for anywhere from 30s to 1 minute then stop. The volume control on the media player is blank (thin strip on left side). The 'refresh' icon goes on most of the time. R4 worked perfectly. Coreplayer plays all songs fine.

Other than that this is a great ROM. Well done Dutty.

I have a big problem with this ROM. I loose databases and all data including from internal memory after few hours. I don't have the problem with Dutty's 6.1 4.1 Finale ROM, so I don't suspect hardware. It hapens in similar way to described above. After soft reset I have effect as after hard reset - orange screen. Sometimes date is preserved. I had it 4-5 times. I flashed ROM 3 times including from SD card. Maybe this is another symptom of the bug mentioned before.

I'd like to add that yesteday even hard reset din't work and I didn't make any mistake with flashing - like forgetting to perform hard reset. It seems to happen during synchronisation or program installing, but ones it happend during online updating of the program via Wi-Fi.

Great rom, stable and fast. I recommend disabling HTC Messaging (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=556614) and installng miri's home button fix. The rest works great unline other ROMs, and believe me, I tried all of them! :) Well almost. :)

I tried R5 some days ago.
Everything works fine with me but it has some bugs:
1. Input method: First Letter Capitalization does not work;
2. SMS too slow, especially if you have hundreds messages in one conversation. It take a long time to load the SMS.

Now i will try the R6. I hope the bugs is fixed. I will report bugs of R6 (if any) soon :)

Screens that come up after ROM downloaded to phone with timings.
Black Screen-Words SMART MOBILITY = 60 seconds
Orange Screen-Windows Symbol-Preparing for first time etc. = 90 seconds
Orange Screen-Windows Symbol-2009 Microsoft copyright etc. = 30 seconds
Orange Screen-Windows Symbol-Bar loading at bottom screen. = 10 seconds
Phone then reboots itself.
Black Screen-Words SMART MOBILITY
Black Screen-HTC and phone makes littls tune.
Orange Screen-Windows Symbol-Preparing for first time etc.
Orange Screen-Windows Symbol-4 coloured timer dots.
Black screen blank in middle then detects Orange SIM card ask to load SIM data to phone.
Then HTC Home screen comes up. Total time 5m 35seconds
NOTE No screen calibration comes up.
Then remember to 1234 Hard reboot. this took same time.
Then I do a soft reset.

v nice rom! tho i think ive found couple of bugs tho may jst be me, i noticed that when i get a new number from a phone call go to add it to existing contact i jst get numbers as input from phone keypad, not major but wot happens to me. n when i tilt the phone when slected music from the bottom it says no music found and carnt play what ive jst paused

For those having problems, I have listed some on how to be able to make it work.

1. Footprints - This does work, but not using the GPS photo. If you want to use footprints, use the NORMAL camera take a picture then view it. Click the right most icon that appears in the popup menu when you click on the image.Then another menu will slide up click the option 'Set as footprints' then it will go to the footprints interface then just update the GPS location found in that interface if you want to add that info.

2. Twitter - This one needs luck, you just have to keep on trying to log into twitter, try both having your data connection and wifi on and just keep on trying to login. I did and it worked, now no more problems when posting.

3. My location - This one updates on WIFI and Data Connection. If you cant update using Data Connection, turn wifi on as well even theres no hotspot and try to update.

Aside from these, the only problems I'm experiencing are the random black screen hang after sometime, and the facebook integration. In 6.1, you will see the associated contacts under you. Now its only you so you won't see who got an update and the picture doesn't update. Nice ROM still.

If you can't update my location using Data connection, turn your WiFi connection on as well, it doesn't need to connect using wifi, just turn it on at the same time with the Data connection and try to update. It should work by then.

It works. No need to use all caps man...its a trial and error procedure and Dutty already mentioned "Twitter seems to have problems with HD CONNECTING". But it works, just retry and retry to login, have both data connection on and wifi on. It took me 5 min in retying till I finally connected. once you have connected, NO MORE PROBLEMS!

Anyone using FingerKeyboard 2.1 with this ROM? The keyboard keeps freezing up and i have to soft reset in order to get any keyboard running again. This happens when i use FingerKeyboard 2.1 as the default keyboard. Happened on Duttys HD WM6.5 R14 Turbo as well. Anyone has a keybaord similar to FingerKeyboard 2.1? I like the key binding shortcuts and cut and paste shortcuts on the keyboard. No other problems with this ROM.. EXCELLANT ROM!! ROMs and individuals like Dutty are the reasons why i am not an Iphone drone and makes WinMo so much more enjoyable! Thanks!!!

bluetooth seems to fail!
HP laptop picks up the phone, and i can sucessfully pair the devices, but after this, the phone seems to think that no partnership has been estabilished.
(trying to use Activesync via bluetooth).

other than that, this has to be the fastest rom for the HD i've tried.

Just noticed if you have a custom wallpaper, when u click on start showing the icons, the wallpaper seems to shrink. I think this can be fixed with a little tweak on the cpr file. just dont know the setting

I got a new Unlocked HTC HD (Telstra) from eBay Australia (T8285) and of course 10 minutes after opening the box I flashed the Leo R6 ROM using USPL 2.5. It works great at 3G speeds with AT&T in the Nashville, TN and Knoxville, TN areas.
I am using Blackberry Connect 4.0.0.106 with no issues.
Fast ROM on usage and booting. No issues so far.

Sprite Backup Version 5.1.0 HTC Edition.(On TyTnII CD)its free.
I had this phone before HD and decided yesterday to see if it runs on HD and it does.Did backup to storage card on default settings and it came out at 43mb.
Switch of HTC Sence in today settings and backup was 78mb.So tip is switch off all process.You can find copy on XDA-Wiki HTC-Kaiser.

there are one bug when i want to change home wallpapers it appears 2 options (weather wallpaper-animated wallpaper)and don't have picture wallpaper and when i choose weather wallpaper it appears to choose picture wallpaper..any solution

Setting back to animated wallpaper wont work form Home Tab -> Menu -> Home Wallpaper -> Weather Wallpaper THIS WONT WORK. If you want the animated wallpaper, go here: Settings Tab -> Personalize -> Home tab wallpaper -> Weather wallpaper. If you want to see the animation of the weather, you should know that this doesn't animate forever. But if you want to see it, just click on the task manager icon (upper right most icon)then tap it again to close it. You will see the weather animation (this is ofcourse if weather is active in the home clock)

I've been testing for a few days now and all is running very stable and fast no issues to report. I have upgraded to the new 1.17 radio running along side this rom and its great the phone seems to run faster and cooler than with the 1.13 also with better network coverage and faster GPS & WiFi

Try changing the clock in Start>Settings>Clock & Alarms - as opposed to Date& Time in Manila

There does not seem to be any adjustment for Daylight Saving time and every time I sync with my desktop the time keeps changing to an hour ahead! Any fixes for this annoyance?

I just flashed R6 Leo and it's my first custom ROM but wow dude, it's just great.
So far, it works great and I can't find any bugs. In my opinion it's much better than the original ROM with WM 6.1

i found problem with htc sence program icon, when first time you add/change the icon/program its ok, then you remove and add again the same icon/program the icon wont change, im using JWMD Icon Changer, also problem with fonts, when im enable cleartype for fonts its ok, then im reset the phone the cleartype for fonts turning disable automaticly.

So far I've had no problems with Dutty's R5 or R6 Rom's Great work Dutty.
The only thing I can suggest is if it's possible to put the zoom function back in the camera, see if you can get the sent message notification to work, and if possible add color to the icons at the top of the home screen.

Designer themes still play up. Change to Theme no theme wallpaper comes up. And on start screen icons get white background and overlay themselves. Have to do a reset and if lucky go into today screen and reset. Duttys Muchos theme does fully work. Any ideas I think someone said it was to do with update to windows live. But I have not updated this app?

Very good rom but i have an issue.When i am making a call after i press call the screen doesnt turn to black for screen stanby mode which avoids unintentional touchs to the screen during the phone call.I will appreciate all helps since i am really new to roms.Thanx in advance...
