HTC EVO 3D Noreve Tradition Flip Case Review

If you are looking for style, protection and convenience, I give you the Noreve Tradition leather flip case for the HTC EVO 3D.

I was actually a bit surprised when I received the Noreve HTC EVO 3D case, because it came in a plastic bubble container. Why? Inside the container, there was an elegant gift box. So the first thing I will tell you is this, if you are buying the Noreve Saint-Tropez Leather flip case as a gift for someone, take it out of the easy open bubble container and wrap the gift box. After all, we are talking about full grain calf leather and it should not be wrapped in plastic.

Once I unscrewed the Noreve EVO 3D case from the packaging (don't worry, it comes with a screw driver), I screwed on the belt clip. Very simple. On the front, the only thing you will see on the field of black leather is the Noreve metal logo on the bottom right.

On the back is the removable clip with Noreve written across it. On the sides, you will notice the cut outs for the charger/sync, camera controls and volume for the HTC EVO 3D smartphone. On top you will see a hole punched out for the 3.5 headphone jack. The magnetic snap makes it easy to open and close the flap.

Wonderful stitching and elegance combined with convenience makes this a fashion victory for your HTC EVO 3D. The first thing you will notice on the inside flap is the Noreve logo embossed line by line on a 45 degree angle.

Now, lets talk functionality. The Noreve Tradition leather case for the HTC EVO 3D is simple to use and slide your phone into. When you get a call, simply remove it from your belt, open the magnetic flap (making sure you fold the flap into your phone holding hand ensures that the opened flap does not slap the back of your head). Same thing goes when taking pictures.

There were only a couple of issues that I had with the Noreve leather case for HTC EVO 3D. If I wanted to snap off a picture quickly, I could not. The fact is that it takes time to take from your hip, open the flap and activate the camera. The second issue was with listening to music with headphones. See, when the headphone jack is being used the wire interferes with the opening of the flap. My advice is to use a Bluetooth headset instead. Wires are so passe anyway.

The Noreve Tradition flip case does not make your HTC EVO 3D water resistant, but it does protect it against drops. I would still add a screen protector, but that is just because I like to keep my smartphones safe.

If you are looking for updated fashion blended with convenience and security, I would have to go with the Noreve Tradition leather case for the HTC EVO 3D
