HTC EVO 4G LTE Hands On Review

What an amazing opportunity I had yesterday to be invited to the HTC Sprint event in NYC to present the HTC EVO 4G LTE. The event itself was great but the HTC EVO 4G LTE blew it away. Here is my hands on review of the HTC EVO 4G LTE. Do not for get to get your HTC EVO 4G accessories at HTCpedia shop.

As you can see, I was really at the event and did get to play with the HTC EVO 4G LTE. The first thing that I noticed was how light the smartphone was. Even with a 2000mAh battery, HTC was still able to keep it comfortable. And no... the battery is not removable.

The 4.7 inch display did not disappoint. Clarity is an understatement in this HD display. A display like this is needed with the amazing camera abilities coming out of a smartphone. When I tell you that professional photographers (not self proclaimed iPhonographers) will be running to get the HTC EVO 4G LTE, I am not kidding. True SLR action allows for up to 99 shots in a row at 4 to 5 shots a second. That right there is innovation.

How about bringing back the famed EVO kickstand? Bingo! It shows when two companies like HTC and Sprint actually listen to their customers wants and needs. Adding the kickstand back was a stroke of genius. 4G LTE technology added with a HD display and a kickstand is the perfect combination for watching movies, video clips or just kicking it up next to the bed like a clock. You may also notice the dedicated camera button (very nice).

Of course I did listen to the music capabilities of the HTC EVO 4G LTE and I did it with a set of Beats Audio headphones. You really do not know what you are missing until you hear music played perfectly. The clarity is great and I did not notice any distortion when I turned it up. The bass beats were also clear and did not effect the highs and mids when it hit hard.

Here is a video from the Event in NYC yesterday showing the introduction of the next big hitter on the block. The HTC EVO 4G LTE.

The HTC EVO 4G LTE will be available some time in the 2nd quarter of 2012 for $199 with a two year agreement.

In the end, the HTC EVO 4G LTE will be a tough smartphone to even compete with, let alone beat in a competition. If you are looking for fantastic service with the best smartphone on the market then the HTC EVO 4G LTE is for you.
